.you go about life, doing things you enjoy, grinning and bearing through the things you don't, sometimes taking yourself away from the world because you can't bear to grin anymore. after a short reprieve, my state of purposeful.

i rest and recuperate and enter the world again
i put on my gray, black, or beige pants. i stretch into my sweater, maybe put a button down underneath, pull over my black coat with a grayish fur collar, slip on my heeled boots, and walk out and in to another day.
